Farewell to Summer : As the sun journeys to the horizon, the hubbub of the day disappears under the waves. Contentedly I sit committing the view to memory, before the breeze cools and the leaves don their autumnal colours.
Impressions is a series of creative solos written for both lever and pedal harps. Each piece is like the memory of a dream fading away. There is a brief description included for each piece to help the audience and performer connect with the story behind it, and I hope it inspires you as you learn it. Only minimal fingering has been provided, allowing the freedom for each individual to choose their own as they see fit. Gwenllian Llyr.
