About Caitríona Rowsome

Caitríona Rowsome

Caitríona was born into a family steeped in Irish music and creative arts. Her journey through life embraces many aspects of the creative. She is an author, harper, artist, and tutor and as such enjoys the benefits of a mixed skillset upon which she can continually engage and explore.

Caitríona's debut 4-CD music book The Complete Carolan Songs and Airs celebrates the music and song of the 17th/18th century harper Turlough Carolan. She recently gave a number of harp workshops and recitals in The Piper's Club (NPU), Cairde Na Cruite's Harp Festival in Termonfechin, the Great Hall of Tullynally Castle, Co. Westmeath, and at the Steeplesessions Concert Series in the Unitarian Church, St. Stephen's Green, Dublin.

Caitríona is an editor of the Cairde na Cruite (Friends of the harp) annual newsletter.
