Trevithick's Train celebrates the anniversavy of Richard Trevithick’s high-pressure steam locomotive hauling a load on rails, nine and a half miles from Penydarren to Abercynon, in 1804. That journey sets the scene for this CD, written and produced by Abercynon, based SPRIG productions. The musical, produced bilingually, is also flexible in that the music can be used to form the listener's own, do-it-yourself musical.The dialogue included here is a guideline to help develop further productions in the nature of living tradition.
