Charlotte Petersen is an extremely talented harpist who plays both Concert harp and Celtic harp (clarsach). Her range of music is vast and covers everything from classical, jazz and swing through to traditional Celtic and Scottish favourites, plus more contemporary popular music on top of that. She is a passionate and expressive musician whose playing is superb Catriona McKay, musician and composer born in Dundee, Scotland. Catriona is a fearless contemporary explorer on the Scottish harp, having collaborated with folk, jazz, classical and experimental artists, as well as co-designing the new Starfish McKay harp, featuring an alternative tuning pattern, as heard on her recent solo album STARFISH “...of extraordinary beauty” The Irish Times Dec. 07 Catriona is a member of the leading Shetland band Fiddlers' Bid and the Chris Stout Quintet. She has a harp and fiddle duo with Chris Stout and plays World/Jazz music with Phil Alexander(piano/box). Catriona continues to be at the cutting edge of harp music in a clarsach and live electronics combo playing experimental music and improvisation with leading electroacoustic composer Alistair MacDonald.
