Calon Lân is a Welsh hymn, the words were written by Daniel James (1848 - 1920) to the tune by John Hughes (1872–1914). These days this beautiful song is very strongly associated with our Welsh rugby union team and is sung before our home international matches, often by massed Welsh Male Choirs, who regularly enterntain the crowds before the start of the matches.
