“Naked Music” was originally released in 1994. It was taken out of print around 2000 because Deborah planned to re-record it. That plan has been delayed, but there are many requests for this album, especially from musicians who play these pieces and want to hear Deborah’s solo harp performance of them so we’ve created this limited re-release of the CD in CDR format. |

For years, people asked me to make a solo album.
“Just you,” they said, “your harp and your voice..,
and nothing else.” So here it is, nothing to cover it, nothing
to hide it. This is naked music.
All harps & vocals: Deborah Henson-Conant
The harp used for this recording is a Lyon & Healy
Style 17 (circa 1920).
In addition to microphones, a Fishman Transducer and preamp were used
to record the harp.

TECHNICAL NOTE: This release may be a “CDR” (recordable CD). CDRs can be slightly more finicky than CDs. They will play fine on 99.99% of CD players. However, sometimes they won’t play on car CD players or some “disc-person” type portable players. If you don’t hear anything when you play this CD, it probably doesn’t mean your CD player is broken or this CD is broken. If that happens, just try another CD player. If you STILL have problems, e-mail us at info@HipHarp.com. (Note: to date we’ve had no complaints about any of our CDRs, so the chances are excellent that yours will work perfectly.)
